Our Range of Casement Windows
Casement windows are similar to awnings, but they are hinged on one side (instead of the top) and swing out on the opposite side.
Advantages
- Excellent airflow: However, this is dependent on wind direction. Low maintenance: Limited moving parts.
Disadvantages
- Cost: More expensive than other window types. High cost.
- Screens: Cannot be easily screened. To screen this product, you will have to go to a specialist screen company.
- Protrusion: Panels protrude to the exterior when open. If used in high traffic areas such as walkways or patios they can present a potential bump hazard.
