Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the common questions our customers ask, with the answers.
We are located at 60 Chetwynd Street, Loganholme, QLD, 4129.
We are open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until midday. We are closed public holidays.
We focus on new and factory second aluminium windows and doors, as well as new timber windows and doors.
The definition of a factory second varies.
For windows and doors usually, product becomes a factory second due to: Being incorrectly entered into the system (wrong size, colour, glass type etc). Builders going bust or not paying their bill (the manufacturer then goes out and reclaims the product from site, so there may be some minor marks from where they were fixed into place). Windows and doors do tend to pick-up minor marks, scratches and dings from handling and storage but there should be no major damage on the product which would prevent it from being operational.
We accept cash, EFTPOS, credit card (we are unable to accept American Express) and direct bank deposit.
No. All goods must be paid for before we can release them.
Yes, we can deliver locally for an additional cost (we can deliver to the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast metropolitan areas). We can also arrange for our suppliers to deliver direct from the factory and most of them can deliver a bit further out than us.
All new windows and doors come with full manufacturers warranty (which can be provided on request). Factory second, second hand products come without warranty.
A glazing certificate (Form 15) is a document which is supplied with all new windows and doors stating the performance of the product and certifying that they have been manufactured to Australian standards.
You require a glazing certificate for any job where council requires certification for what you are doing. If you are unsure if you require a glazing certificate ask your builder or certifier. Only one glazing certificate needs to be submitted per job.
No. If you require a glazing certificate factory second and second hand product are not suitable for you. If you purchased a factory second or second hand product without knowing you required a glazing certificate you may have to get in touch with a glazier to come out to site, inspect the product and provide you with a certificate for it.
We don’t do installation but we work with many builders and we can introduce you to a builder that services your area.
